If you look up Hell’s Half Acre in your favourite Encyclopaedia, you might find mention of an Idaho lava field or a certain snuff film. Well, you’ve heard it here first but some disused tunnels originally affiliated to Waterloo Station are to be (once again) transformed into a multimedia space, this time named Hell’s Half Acre.

In recent years London has seen much use of these versatile spaces of its bowels, with each use proving to be more exciting than the last; The Cans Festival, Shunt Lounge and Cable Nightclub spring to mind as some of the most successful. While I have missed some of the most recent shows like Lost, this exhibition, organised by Laz and featuring some of my favourite British artists right now including Conor Harrington and Paul Insect, promises to be spectacular.
