I have been meaning to post about the fantastic Clean Bandit for a while now. With an up-to-date promo image and a reasonably festive new tune, I feel now is as appropriate a time as ever to finally go ahead with the posting. So, here we go:

With most of the members meeting each other at Cambridge University, the band came together due to their common interest in both classical and pop music, and these influences come through strongly in all of their pieces, with a string-quartet often laying down the base for their songs.

I first showcased the band on the radio about a year-and-a-half ago, and since then they have gone on to play festivals and venues around the country. Do keep an ear out for these characters since their live shows are quite something.

Cheque their cheeqy video for Mozart’s House, filmed in Moscow and its environs.
