Shepard Fairey & Death Cab for Cutie // Home is a Fire

I used to be a huge fan of Death Cab, though I’m not sure I have ever disliked an album of theirs, so perhaps I am still a fan.

I also used to be a huge fan of Shepard Fairey, though I still have walls covered with his artwork, so perhaps I am still a fan.

Any which way, news of their collaboration on a music video, for Death Cab’s new song Home is a Fire, excited me. I’m not sure the rather disappointing result has re-established my love for either artist, but the song is good, and Shepard’s art has clearly taken a new direction, so perhaps I like it.

Great to see briefly inside Shepard’s famous studio. The video only provides a fleeting glimpse, so theveryveryvery grabbed it for you and plopped it above.

Watch the video below, or check it fullscreen (maybe worth it) here.
