b. // Greek Pavillion / Venice Architectural Biennale

Not nearly as impressive at Stelios Faitakis’ work for the entrance of the Danish Pavilion in 2011, but still quite exciting, is b.’s piece for the outside of the Greek Pavilion at this year’s Architectural Biennale in Venice.

b., like Stelio, is a renowned Greek street artist whose work Athenians will recognise from their visible public spaces. b. often works with Zoe Zillion to create some great collaborations utilising their locales well. Some of my pictures of b.’s work featured in an issue of VNA magazine. Some photos of b. working on the work above can be viewed here.

Watch a video (in Greek) about the work inside the pavilion which appears to deal with issues surrounding the deterioration of Greece’s urban spaces here.
